Why should university student living in the dormitory?


When student start university, they have to make a choice: Where to live? While many students are able to continue living at home, and some renting privately, a large number of students choose to live in dormitory. In fact, living in a dormitory advantages students from several ways. Make friends, learn social skills and save money.

First of all, living in the dormitory can make lots of friends. As a matter of fact, It is easier to make friends when everyone lives in dormitory. Generally, dormitory could contain thousands people and it is easy to find someone who had similar hobbies. In addition, dormitory usually has lounge that provides sofas, TV and cooking area. It is a good place to meet new people and making friends while they having conversations.  Some dormitory comprise of international students, which could be bonus if they want to make friend from all over the world, and this is one of the advantages why students living in the dormitory.

Another advantage for living in dormitory is that student can learn the social skills during the dormitory life. Getting into a university could be the first step to join the society for most of students. Normally, each student has one or two roommates in one dormitory room. They have to learn how to share everything with other people. And they have to learn how to do household chores. Moreover, dormitory could seem as a small society, wide variety of people is in there, student should learn skills about how to take care of relationship with them.

At last, students also can save money by living in dormitory. For those students who choose to live rent house, they have to pay the cash deposit which is nearly unpayable money for them. However, dormitory liver does not need to pay it. Another benefit for dormitory liver is that all the electric charge and water rate are free. Additionally, dormitory almost located close to the campus. Thus, students can save public transportation fees as well.

In conclusion, students may have different choice to accommodation selections, but, living in dormitory not only can make many friends, but also can learn social skills. Meanwhile, they can save money as well. All in all, living in the dormitory could be the best option.
