The practicality of studying abroad is a controversial issue among university students. Acknowledging numerous benefits, I support the idea of studying overseas.  Above all, one's language skills will improve. By mingling with foreign students, students will have opportunities to communicate with them. Through direct conversations with  native speakers, students will be able to gain first hand experiences and advance their skills. Additionally, students will be able to become more independent. Staying alone is tough. Students need to be self-sufficient and cope to a diverse environment. However, through the process, students are more enabled to confront life more independently. Lastly, staying in a foreign country will provide chances to socialize with foreign students and experience cultural exchange. As staying overseas lets students to be exposed to new culture, it will allow them to naturally accept it. Hence, studying abroad helps students enhance language ability, self-sufiiciency, and experience different cultures.

  1. Good topic. Strong supporting point. But in this sentense "Students need to be self-sufficient and cope to a diverse environment" how about ,instead of using the word diverse ,use the word "new"?
